Automotive and Electronic sector​ Roadmap preview and Industry Sharing

Zoom consultation with the private sector on the development of roadmaps, development and investment attraction in the automotive and electronics sectors, focusing on two main objectives:

1. Provide automotive and electronics investors and industry stakeholders with an overview of the Royal Government of Cambodia's newly created roadmap for the development of these key sectors.

2. Seek industry feedback and input to improve the roadmap before the study project is completed and released later this year.

It should be noted that the Royal Government of Cambodia has identified the automotive and electronics sectors as priority sectors for development for the Cambodian economic recovery from the Kovid-19 epidemic and long-term economic growth, modernization, and diversification in line with the Industrial Development Policy of Cambodia 2015-2025 and the economic recovery plan 2021-2023 which recently released.

The Royal Government has set out a roadmap to promote the development of these priority sectors, including a long-term vision and development map for each sector, and an inter-ministerial action plan to address investors' difficult issues. Extensive consultation. The roadmap is the result of a joint effort by eight ministries of the Royal Government of Cambodia, supported by the UK Accelerated COVID-19 (ACES) Economic Aid Program.
