Location
The POSEZ Industrial Zone is located in northeastern Cambodia, close to Thailand's border. It is about 10 kilometers northeast of Poipet Town in Banteay Meanchey Province, on the border of Poipet Commune and Nimit Commune.
Prospective investors wishing to open a manufacturing firm in Southeast Asia might consider the POSEZ. The POSEZ is closer to Bangkok and Laem Chabang than most BOI Zone 3 industrial estates in Thailand. Investment incentives are also better since labor, construction, and land are cost-effective.
The new ASEAN Highway will pass by the industrial zone and through the future O’Neang border checkpoint with Thailand. This new route will make it easier for manufacturers in the POSEZ Industrial Zone to transfer their products to the Laem Chabang deep seaport, which is only 250 kilometers distant.
