As a member of the World Trade Organization and a Least Developed Country, exports from Cambodia enjoy many benefits:
- The EU Generalized Scheme of Tariff Preferences (GSP) gives Cambodia exemptions on import duties to 28 Nations for all products except arms
- MFN Status gives Cambodia exemptions on import duties to the US for more than 7,000 items
- Exemptions on import duties to China for 413 items
- Cambodia also has bilateral trade agreements with 20 countries and is working towards 8 others
As a member of ASEAN you have access to:
- 230 million consumers in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS)
- 550 million consumers in ASEAN
- ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) to be fully implemented by 2010
